Some Quick Updates

Charly and I have worked a couple of extra Saturdays since Joe started working on and off in North Dakota. He works two weeks on, two weeks off, for the next four months and so we try to be at the shop as much as we can. It does make it a little bit harder to get out since the shop closes at three on Saturdays and we lose any and all light by six, but we still find ways. Last Saturday we made the drive out to Enlosure in Jackson, and this Saturday we are talking about going on an explorative sledding ride. Usually when we sled it's with the goal to find a good place to find a jump or the best powder, but with so little time we will probably just visit Mesa Falls or just bum around Green Canyon. I've started learning how to boon dock the sled and my oh my, it is not a graceful process.

The only photo I got of our climbing trip.

For President's day Chuck had to work at Amet and I worked at the shop and then closed a little early and met up with family for a birthday pool party for my nephew. Aside from the pool party, Charly and I have been getting good use out of that hot tub. It's perfect for soaking in after a run on the treadmill or for warming up in after a day on the snowy mountain, especially on those icy-wind-punching-you-in-the-face-all-the-way-down days.

Aside from that, it's just been the same old same old. Yellow potted flowers for valentines day, Charly finishing his bike build (almost-is a custom bike ever perfect?), and him having to remind me that this:

isn't "snow hail", but sleet.
