Lately with Eliza

I can't believe that a little over a month ago we were here:

And how happy we have been made, and how quickly she's grown...

I mean, look at those cheeks now...

...I pretty much kiss them all day long. And that little tummy poking out...

...I have one just like it, we gave them to each other :D.

The Real Deal

Introducing:

Eliza Mattie Hill
7 pounds, 5 ounces
20 inches
1 week early
March 25, 2015
Perfection

Eliza came into this world and our hearts just a tad early and we are completely smitten, instantly in love, and slightly sleep deprived. Thanks to everyone who has brought gifts, meals, and emotional support. And a special thanks to Charly's and Kristin's parents for the extra naps and support- the first few days and weeks wouldn't have been so blissful without you.

38 Weeks

*So, I wrote up this post a while ago, but was slow to finish it. I still want to remember these things so I figured I'd post it anyways- before the real deal.

Yesterday Charly and I realized we could have an Easter baby haha. How did we not realize that before? It wasn't until my visiting teachers came over and started talking about Easter that the gears started turning in my head...which is kind of sad?

Anyways! Charly started road biking and had his first TNR yesterday. We have had an uncharacteristically warm February and March which I am loving since it takes so much effort to put on real shoes now. Here is some stuff I don't want to forget in 60 years:

>Charly went on a moonlight shred on the Teton Pass. They have talked about doing it for years so when it all came together it was exciting even for me to see him get to do it.

>We have started mountain biking and it's always a good time, even though I go reeeeally slow.

>We built some shelves in the garage and finished a bunch of other projects that will make things good for the baby (quilt, crib sheets, freezer meals and so on). I have loved the "community feel" we have gotten since starting this journey to parenthood. I didn't expect it quite this much but people have been so generous, kind, and supportive, and we are so so grateful for it. THANK YOU!
