Catching Up

This past summer/fall some things that stuck out to us as a particularly good time happened (some a veeery long time ago), but I still don't want to forget them so here we are.

>Cycling season "ended." Of course there are always people out in the snow on their cyclocross or phat bikes but the TNR's have ended and Charly hasn't been out as much. Before that happened they got a few group shots to celebrate the end of the season and Chuck and I cheered and handed out water bottles to our friends/Joe at a cyclocross race. We also attended Dave's annual bike bbq.

>We attended Kelsey and Carson's halloween party. They might just have the cutest house and make the best sloppy joes. Chuck and I are boring lame people, so basically we were the only ones that didn't really dress up.

>Sled Shed held its annual rail jam and afterwards I had some time to hang out with Shae and Katie before a group of us met up at the pizza pie cafe. I love talking to those girls, and so many others here in Rexburg.

>Craft night started happening. I haven't gone that much and technically they have been going on for awhile but I was too busy biking/climbing or sick to go. Now that things have slowed I started joining everyone and it has been great motivation to get those projects done that you bought the stuff for oh, say, two years ago. Last time I went I was feeling lazy and brought homemade cookie dough to bake as my "craft and then the last two times I bailed in favor of sleep haha."

>A couple of Saturdays ago we made the drive down to Utah and met up with James and Chaely. We went to Ikea and got some baby furniture, then Zoupas, and then to their place. We ate and talked and when we got back into our car left Maycee behind. Unfortunately, the allergies are getting out of control and we decided that it was best after a whole lotta thinking/debating/crying into my tacos that this was the time to find her a new home. After that we went up to my cousins Stacy's new home and picked up some baby gear she gifted us with and had some really good laughs. There were a lot of people I thought about calling up that I wanted to see in Utah but we barely had the time and I'm glad we got a chance to see the people that we did but they are honestly pretty great.

>I went to our ward relief society party with Jenna last week and enjoyed talking with some of the people we've been getting to know in the ward.
